Shore Near Another World

Shore Near Another World

A Poem by Fractured Minds
"

I wrote this one a while back.

"

dream of the shore near another world
the waves lapping to and fro
Watching the sand trickle away
having nowhere else to go.
Bits and pieces twisting in the water
Like stars in a moonlit sky
Like souls dancing in the beyond
not yet knowing that they had died.

Dream of a shore near another world
where happiness lies
where sadness run away
beneath indigo and violet skies
where butterflies roam
and dolphins soar high
dipping and twirling with cloud demons of dew
in solitude…

Dream of a shore near another world
and live in the happiness of your dreams
Nothing is what it appears
Nothing what it seems…
Live in your house of cards
Shuddering in the brisk summer wind
Until they fall down like crystal shards
Upon an ever expanding moon-rise.

Leave the world near another shore
Where dolphins sing and butterflies roam.
Come back to this place
Please, please come back home…
