Metamorphmatic

Metamorphmatic

A Poem by Robert Trakofler (Bad Bunny)
"

I had a visitor didn't stay long... wishing it a wondrous journey

"

Metamorphmatic

Swaying shadows softly shroud

The liturgy of humanity

Waves of whispers weave webs wild

Threading your cloak of episteme

Braving blustery brace beguiled

Dressing in graces refashioning

Constant chrysalis compile

Lustily lift life’s lofts lavishly

Once again, a litany of alliteration to accent the acceptable.
They were once called flutterbys...makes more sense don't you think?

A life of beauty briefly lived
that to the eye is given,
and in that beauty passing by
my melancholy is riven.

Thanks for the bright spot, Rob.

Besides being a feel-good poem, the alliteration is masterfully delivered.

I love the title, unique.

And this is superb: "Swaying shadows softly shroud"

Thank you for this creative gift, simply fascinating; a scenic word-trip.

Bravo!

Yes yes yes!!!! I love it
first two couplets sing for me .. second two were a little rougher .. love the deepening of this with just that one word "episteme" ... (had to look it up) we have luna moths, rosey maple moths and just this spring had a huge cecropia moth that hung out on our window screen for 3 days ... in what i think is a call to elevate the elevated in life ..with lust and gusto .. is one i shall endeavor to take with me today ;) really like your butterfly poem sir .. has your unique signature for sure! you are a wild and free spirit me thinks.

I love how you set this up. The opening of each stanza with a matching letter that gives cadence. Then switching to a whimsical image for added charm.
Lovely, simply lovely.

Dear Robert, I wish you visitors like that every day, who inspire you to write ethereal wreaths in soft silky, golden strands!
Glowing stream of sensitivities you weaved and decorated the page. A truly delightful couplets to indulge.

What a gorgeous title and butterfly B.B.! Your visitor must have whispered this exquisite poem in your ear with the breath of her wings. We learn>we think we know>we experience> we really know- or do we? “Threading your cloak of episteme”-beautiful metaphor. We weave our humble philosophies with lace and leather, love and blood and always..we are in flux. “The liturgy of humanity”, yes. Eloquent, lyrical, alliterative wonder of a write. Kudos!
