Your heart is unveiled in this poem, bunny. And yet mysterious, like you always do. I was reading this jewel pretending I can't decode the language, just to feel the serene cadence of the words, so harmonious like the little waves on a quiet lake. What an abundance in your soul. Thank you for sharing that with us.

This is utterly gorgeous. I am lost in the wonders the subject holds for this mysterious, enchanting woman. The imagery is so light and beautiful, like a film shot with a bright filter. Lovely.
Do you know what this made me think of? Watching Rocky Balboa sitting in a chair in front of his wife tombstone. Talking to her as if she was still there. And that one small bit of emotion that he’ll show now and again when the pain really grips his soul, No matter how tough man is he’s not immortal and he has not made of stone. All men bleed in the end

Hmm a feeling we all know too well . It does drive our souls to continue on.!
I liked the description of waking up with the sun coming through the windows. Very seductive words filled with desire and romance. Elegant poem! Lydi**

But there is something wonderful about seeing beams of sunlight across the blankets in the morning!
I love the yearning in this piece, in this line: "to hold her
hand in mine
cradle fold
band entwine
to drink her
grand sublime", and the language is clearly you, unique to you.
I like the onslaught of words to this (for me, anyway) difficult to decode poem.

You describe the opening scene as he awakens so clearly and the whole effort of getting his old bones to function as he stops at seeing the sun and wonder and ponders. As always the words woven in play are enticing.
