A Handful Of Ken's Photographs or Photographic Memory

A Handful Of Ken's Photographs or Photographic Memory

A Poem by Robert Trakofler (Bad Bunny)
"

Mr Simm sent me a series of pictures and then I wrote this I just did this raw no editing just what my feverish and fuzzy mind saw:) Hey what Title should i use?

"

__A Handful Of Photographs__

Taking residence in the resonance

of obscurity

A short stout tree thrives lofty in a stand

cast conformity

Wind wave woolpack whitewash whispers whim

rains sublimity

Collecting craves confluence conduction

clouds commodity

Proximity peers place purvey & poets

Peak’s posterity

A photo speaks a different language to each who hold it and study it. It's the artist and poet who give it life, not in words of a critic, but the heart of a human, seeing the beauty in the odd, the non-conformity that "thrives lofty." Masterful alliteration that delivers!

I should never favour one poet above the others but i do ... like it or not Ken's photography and words transport me beyond my normal thinking.
Love this alliterative tribute you have written for his photos Bunny :)

He most certainly has made impressions pin me too:)
This made me think of how almost anything can become beautiful in the right light or right context. The eye of the beholder being the thing.

And when we are standing behind a camera, and our creative minds are zeroing in on something, we do often capture something that might otherwise seem insignificant when viewed in the wider frame.

Every encounter creates a different response from each individual. Your poem has captured that for me. And also word painted the beauty of a scene complete with the soul of the thing.

Very cool, Robert. Inspiration comes from the most unexpected places.

It does truly... dear Eilis:) but as i peruse the views I sometimes wonder if we affect it... too
Ah . . . language poetry to portray the visible poetry of photography! I love to view photos and try to write a poem about them. I did so with an old family album going back several generations. Had a lot of fun. But Bunny . . . I usually do it when sober!!!! (just joking my friend)

First of all a true thank you for taking my visual poem a stage or several stages further. Next this is the ryhmn of the landscape in each shot. Sometimes percussive sometimes boogie, sometimes pastorale. All done with your inimitable alliterative style that covers the whole thing like light across the landscape.
I know what the shots are and I know a lot about them but I still see more now because of you.

Ken also shared his photo collage with me & the part that stood out for me is CLOUDS!!! We have no clouds in California, so I was enthralled by how dramatic the clouds made everything look. The clouds connected each different scene. I always enjoy your extreme alliteration & I admire how you can allow words to stand without any editing at all . . . that takes juevos! Like letting us see your naked thoughts (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Methinks Mr. Simm will approve your gift of and to him, Robert. His photographs are wonderful, as are his paintings, his poetry, his prose, etc. etc.. nobody should be that gifted! You, dear sir, have captured him so wonderfully well in your own very special way.

A photo has an image but the interpretation of that image has many meanings as you have described. A class of your own Robert with your fine writing style.

Indeed inspired you are Sir! I am amazed at the alliteration you so easily craft into your works that gives your unique flavour to your work. This one expresses well what you see in the photograph.
