Brainstorm

Brainstorm

A Poem by Robert Trakofler (Bad Bunny)

__Brainstorm__

I catch traces

Of the

Distant crackle

In the

Bristling spaces

Of the

static dazzle

to the

flash embraces

of the

thunders rattle

to the

spark shot places

of the

lightning’s travel

see the

smoke line raising

as the

embers dazzle

on the

split tree blazing

smell the

ozone frazzle

feel the

fresh mist glazing

on my

body drizzle

as if

glances praising

as the

flames singe fizzle

as it

warms my bathing

in this

 Gracing mizzle

I fall

Tearful shaking

in my

Hearts revisal

Fills my

Empty aching

To this

Life’s epistle

I wonder if the poem was inspired by the scene in the photo. It is certainly atmospheric. Well, they both are.

And the crackling energy you speak of could apply to so many things. Does seem an excellent metaphor for inspiration. The energy that can overcome when something strikes the mind like lightning.

Or could speak of the different ways our minds encounter our surroundings. I’m not exactly sure, but I’m ok with that because the poem itself lends energy. The crackle.

Unique work, as ever, Robert. Always an adventure for the mind when I visit your page.

Has a great beat to it and the allusion to a brain on fire with creativity is incredible. I wanted most to say that I like the how the lines are tight and each one that follows the two syllable lines are like a crash that follows the flash. Great stuff!

This poem has such energy and a beat. Synapses firing, fires crackling, sparks shooting, I feel it all in this rthymic, well spaced and cleverly worded write.

Thank you my dear Divvy:)
I don't believe that I will EVER be able to write in the rhythming way You do! fabulous! at first I wasn't sure what You meant, then as I reached the half, slowly I was there with You, and at the end I believe I got it all. that incident brought many kind of emotions inside You, the majestic of nature, Your pain for the tree as if You are her (the tree), how life is symbolized in that event, the split tree into half, like good and evil in life, these contradictory feelings inside You, brought a storm in Your brain, and in Your heart, I see this a deep yet a sensitive one, it was shown in a powerful way at the end.

You took me to several places with this write Bunny. I have to say, it is one of my favourite Bunny poems. Brainstorming. You reminded me of what goes on inside my head when I have a problem which needs solving. All those wires, all that electricity lighting up to find a solution. And then there was a proper thuderstorm with lightening flashes and I got dreched on all the fabulous imagery. Great flow and alliteration. Loved this read. Inspirational work.

Feels like I'm caught in the forefront of a battle between mind and nature. The concrete descriptions, tactile, olfactory, emotional, build making you feel like being caught in the start of a battle unaware of anything with the exception of survival. cool pic and really excellent punch. Loved it!

Thanks Crowley the things that come out of the bunny’s unquiet mind:)
The best part of this poem is how powerfully you describe the crackling fiery sensation of being struck by something monumental & life-changing. I definitely prefer a poem (by you) when you tell a story with flow & continuity, more than the abstract word play poems that you are very fond of presenting. This is a great metaphor for life's inevitable blows (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

The bole of that tree, struck by lightning, and filled with fire easily represents life going up in flames. This reminds me of an episode of An Amish Haunting called, "The Witch's Tree." When lightning struck the tree, which had been planted over a buried witch, they believed that the witch's spirit had been set free and only after planting a new tree was the spirit confined. All of life is poetry waiting to be written. I love this.
