Exhibinibition

Exhibinibition

A Poem by Robert Trakofler (Bad Bunny)
"

finally I scrawled something:)

"

__Exhibinibition__

This hollow hallowed hike of haunt;

Through shadows shifting stride.

I follow fallow fog that flaunts;

Guiles gripping graces glide.

I swallow shallow smog supplant;

Depletes devotes descry.

This clouded cast conception crown;

Belies embodies brace.

Spot shrouded splendors specters sound;

Exclaims endears embrace.

Confounded captured crush compound;

Entreat enchants enlace.

Author's Note

Robert Trakofler (Bad Bunny)
This painting is one of my most prized possessions it was given to me by an amazing friend and artist of whom introduced me to many artists over the years and the world they exist in. It is the only portrait I have ever had and I used it for one my first bands... "In Violate" in the early 90's

I enjoyed the alliterations here Bunny. You place the words so well. They seem to compliment each other totally. You took me on a journey that was dark, haunting, a road obscured by fog yet one of splendour and love’s embrace.

I loved the Artwork. It had something very sad and profound about it. A picture says a thousand words, they say and this painting speaks to me of tears and high emotion. A very special and inspiring painting indeed. Thank you for sharing.

what an amazing painting, your poem was okay too, lol your silver tongued trickery warps and merges with the contours of the picture, sometimes don't actually have a clue what your poetry is about, just like the way you use words and sounds, you are a wizard of the wonderous wordage blues

Fabulous rhyming Robert, I can almost hear you singing this one all the way form there. The impression of an artist about you is his narration of instant and it is always confined to his perception...yet this portraiture is impressive and impactful I can understand why it is your favorite.

That's a cool story in the note. With the alliteration aside, I would like to point out that your meter was on point like the rat a tat tat of a snare drum. It's nice that you rhymed in each line instead of the second one which makes up the fourteener. People have gushed over the subject matter, but I'll give you props on mechanics. Good work.

A unique portrait here Bunny of a face from different angles. Strong features, particularly of the nose and eyes. The eyes are wide eyed and I see suffering in them. The portrait is as unique and creative as your lines. They speak to me of a struggle. A journey through fog and cloud. I sensed a feeling of suffocation. An inward struggle, but I also felt that embrace of a warm heart. Most of all there is musicality. There is always music in your poetry with its wonderful alliteration and beat. Always a pleasure to read the one and only Bunny.

Was this the face on the dream woman's forearm??!! Your poem matches the face's appearance!! "inviolate," indeed!!! Another bad bunny alliteration frenzy!!!!! Well done!

That is a great painting, Robert. Makes me think of Munch's 'The Scream' in some ways while also showing a multi angled view of a personality; the parts of self that exist mostly hidden behind the layers and the fog.

Your poem adds to the mystique of the painting in your consistent alliterated style. They combine for a fine piece of work. Nicely conceived.

You're the alliteration master, Robert (though Margie might be your equal). :) I'm not familiar with the painting, but I've grown to love the style. I started studying Picasso a while ago, and when I learned what influenced him (e.g., African wood masks), I found not only masterful art but meaning. This Goldstein painting gives even more depth to your poem.

I imagined myself walking a foggy maze, maybe a sweet yellow, swatting away the mist, until entering a clearing, mind and eyes clear, and a painting like that I understand with rare clarity. Another extraordinary poem that is uniquely you.
