Let It Rain

Let It Rain

A Poem by Robert Trakofler (Bad Bunny)
"

This is a variation of my last poem "I Have Mail" in lyric form for one of the songs my new friend had sent me I will attach music to the post when I have finished recording it.

"

__Let It Rain__

Stroll this sphere

Of souls

Strides unclear

-ly shown

strain and fear

Take toll

Atmosphere

Gets cold

Scattered tears

Take hold

Stealing years

untold

but

I…

 Can see

The art

Run free

cry …

the plea’s

of hearts

decree

spy…

the scenes

impart

of dreams

fly

set free

rain art

on me

let it

rain

I thought of Bob Dylan and his nonsuperimposable mirror image of the energies of real life and truth. I can say this because after Saturdays 3 inch rainfall in January, in Detroit no doubt, my basement filled up with about 4 inches of water. Yet rain is the most detached, extravagance of all of nature. That is, the same rain that swallowed my new Samsung smart TV, is the same rain that with skill and fanciful footwork, lights
on the party-color stamens of carnations. I have no authority over neither....great poem, as always...dana

You obviously have a more than musical ear and spirit, Mr. Bunny, sir. It can be done, cos you've proved it.. an instinct of how IT should be even if the key were to change as you go along. I find the music and words/lyrics meld No, they melt into each other, Excuse me, going to listen again, need to.. ..

Without hearing any other version, intro or whatever: I hear, see, feel this as someone watching how the rain falls, how the puddle jumps for a second, settles - then, then in less than a breath there's an inconsistent repetition that the viewer notices, considers, recognises.. slowly, slowly .. and more. It's hypnotic to a point of being something other than lyrics and music.. for me. Right now, don't want to anything different

Will return, don't know when. For now,, feeling a little lost. Quite a while ago , waking soon after surgery, lay listening to whale calls. Felt and saw self walking on the sea bed.. could hear, feel the calling.. TRUE.. same difference as with ..

Sorry too long, but why bother to merely scan then write, Enjoyed, nice.'

oh good not many remark on the music its nice to get a little feedback:)
Even if I did not know your interests I could still hear the percussiveness of the rain in this. This is wistful and layered. Atmospheric and detailed. Intelligent and quite lovely. As difficult a thing to achieve in writing if you ask me.

I’ve not misplaced my umbrella in the fridge yet but twice I have left my car keys in it
I am not super clear about deciphering this but we are buried in unwanted snow and I wouldn't mind some of your warm rain to wash it all away

So is this the composer’s music with your lyric? It’s a lovely atmospheric composition. Perfect for bringing the listener into a zen realm of feeling.

Even though this is a connection or continuation of your mail poem, it feels so different in that it offers more of a sense of how the experience of sharing impacts you on a deeper level. When people offer something of themselves it is a gift—if we choose to see it so—and your poem(s) show your own reverence for that gift.

But also, how art itself works as a healing force. The trials of life can take a toll, but art offers tools that can help us find a way through the maze of that. And create beautiful things to ameliorate the impact of suffering. Or simply help us find a way into a new kind of life.

This is inspiring work, BB. I do enjoy hearing it. Having it shared as a song is even more impactful than a simple poetry reading. Good stuff.

Oh Bunny, I had to hold my phone close to my ear with the volume up as loud as it could go. I had to strain my ears to hear, but it was worth it. Listened three times. Your words and the musical score suited my mood this morning. So close to the anniversary of my Dad's passing. Touched my soul you did and your visuals were amazing. Did you catch my tears?
