what a coincidence! I'm writing a new poem that starts with "give me.../gift me", anyway back to Your brilliant poem, You spoke of us all, our thirst to keep on creating, that thirst which keeps us moving on and on, the other hand You let me remember how I always wanted a partner whom I can with him create art, for me poetry and music. one thing about Your poetry, Your rhythm and beat will always be outstanding and I can't but feel that I'm dancing.

A blank Canvas by a deep Ocean where waves of turquoise blue
whisper in sounds of seagull lullabies... to capture your eyes and
and a smile that says, "stay forever and a day... and I will be your
North Star". truly, Pat

Art can speak, when the lips never move. This piece describes that so well.
I love this portion-
“ Swell these hollow aches in our souls
Bid us follow grace we might know”
So very beautiful❤️
There is insane power in a blank canvas, an infinite potential to yield art. The artist can never be content with his work, he yearns and thirsts to be more perfect; therein lies his boon and his bane. This is what drives us to get up and write, instead of being content with sitting on our bottoms all day, and yet this is what makes us feel miserable.

Hi Moon:) the ache never seems to get filled:( but we keep trying... a lovely malady yes?
after working the "get out the vote" campaign here in Detroit for Bernie Sanders, where only a fraction of the electorate even bothered, I needed again this electrodesiccation; this brilliant flashing and fulguration to remind me that language is a greater portage than a trillion unused promises ….great write...dana

I hope the play is going better I'm dying to read some of it

Oh yes Bunny, a thirst for our art. Always looking for the next inspiration. Always looking to improve on what we have created before. I love the musicality of this write, such a great rhythm. Good job done here.

A prayer for the arts, indeed this is! For many it is a religion all of its own. Those of us who are genuine in our thirst always anxiously anticipate our next moment of inspiration. Who needs any other form of drug when we have our art! I find your style interesting...a kind of offbeat rhyme that blends into a cohesive whole. An interesting discovery for this new young lady on the cafe. Enjoyed it, monsieur Robert.:)
