I think ill call it Sustaining note

A Poem by Robert Trakofler
"

have reworked this one many times and bounced it off Lightsong many times (sorry) but i think it's finished now? Audio Link in reviewers notes:)

Sustaining Note

A single sustaining note

Still resonates a refrain

long after the song has ended

Like a flickering teardrop

floating before my eyes

aflutter in its tones inflection

its measures were authored

many years past

yet still sounding

from the day it was written

I watch as the intents spiral

And sway

from erstwhile’s expression

conducting me

in its movements

Longing for this melodies

beauty to not end

I drop a tear

Resounding in its motion

a single droplet

shed with all its fragility

wishing its display

continuation

from a simple poets

pleading hand

placed upon the earnest palimpsest

of perpetuity

praying that you

might hear it too

and sustain its note

Just so tenderly lyrical, graceful and beautiful Robert. Gossamer similes, metaphors and alliterative imagery are like twining ribbons around and through your lovely words. One note, one drop of water, one poet's shared word with the universe...yes, they sustain the soul, and the universe, for perpetuity... Kudos both to you and LS for this stellar, sharing work!

This collaboration of two beautiful poets is unique and so very lovely and interesting!
The word choice is superb and the imagery of that lone, flickering tear is stunning. The underlying message, our woeful, wistful wish for our tears to be seen, felt and appreciated is so relatable to me. This poem has such universal appeal in its human yearnings. Kudos Lightsong & Robert! Looking forward to more such beaut collabs from a gifted duo ❤

.............. sounds amazing .. and truly :)
Like a flickering teardrop..... Oh awesome line. A soulful music resonates with us long after it has ended. And humming occurs when sustained so deep. Actually soul has an ear which wants a soothing note for its own sustenance. .. And it's like your poetry... Sustaining !!

I did nothing, specialy that I am not good with your style, You were always a help when I ask finding errors in my poerty, the only thing I noticed was the ending wasn't flowing in harmony with the rest, and here yours is much better than what I offered! I love "beauty to not end", love the photo, and love how You play at the ending of your audio to accomplish perfectly with your poem, (BTW your voice sounds a little weak, hope I'm mistaken and You are ok). since I also came from the city where the first alphabet and first sheet of music were found, this with no doubt will be more specia to my heart ❤️ the thing that stands out alone in all of this is how YOU could even think of such a thought, no second guess that You are indeed a very sensitive Mr. Robert ✨

P.S, stick to "Sustaining Note".
