A Poem by Connor

Dropoff into a drunken dreamworld

duodenal dunes dumping droll dialogue

and drooping dotingly, downcast and downbeat,

like a dreadnaught dovetail, disturbingly dormant

to our dignified delusions and our delicate deductions

dancing dancing dancing in the distillate doldrums.

I see ancient ruins in this poem... It's almost as
if it is a self acknowledment and acceptance
of the day to day humdrum of life...Happily
delusional, and the use of the D's, definetely
original. Well done.

Wow! Very impressive footwork in this piece! I'll not say that I'm aware of the meanings of each word used, but I've pasted them & I'm going to look them up!

Very nicely done!
