This one is deceptively simple on the surface. The first verse seems to be a type of stream of consciousness technique that allows us to see the speaker's thought processes as they succeed one another. Verse two is an apparent explanation of its predecessor. What we are witnessing, then, is a metamorphosis, a growth or blossoming of the compete individual as self acceptance finally prevails. An interesting psychological piece here.
