The utter and brazen simplicity of the naked truth is starring at us from the very pages of Genesis' Scripture so many seek to revere as inspiration's justification for Worship of a God who is more than just a bit odd -- deity-wise, that is, and of a certainty. Witness the evidence so clearly set to page as a dual repetitive plurality's stated line transformed into a verse:

Gen 1:26 KJV -- And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them ...

The word “us” denotes plurality. The word them also denotes plurality. As a matter of speculative conjecture, I offer this summation: Could it possibly be that such plurality is, in fact, repeated as means of prompting the reader to, “Pay attention!?”

Thank for giving this rather odd piece a look see ... In answer to your logical question: Maybe in this connotation's sense: All religion is Man-made and based upon ancient mythological Fairy Tales that serve to link the characteristics, attributes, and persona of Man to God(s) & God(s) to Man: i.e.: God is Man just as Man is God in my many years as a (now, EX) Minister of in depth research & study of Scriptural texts & languages of Judaism & Christianity coupled with enough of Islam to set the concrete conclusion's assessment of my personally reached viewpoint of highly opinionated spoken to page opinion) ... If Man is a Clone of a Plurality based God (a group of entities serving as God), then, Man is a God as well demonstrated by Man's plurality of communal, societal, & warlike ways: "There was a war in Heaven ..." ...

But, what if? ... What if Humankind came to exist upon this planet via the visit or presence of an Extraterrestrial Life form that was (is, if still in existence other than extinction) near identical, at least, to Man? ... What if there were, at that most primally ancient time, a need for a labor force, or just the existence of loneliness, that inspired such beings to clone themselves in order to provided means to carry out and orchestrate necessary or communal visitation? ... The Hebrew words of this famous passage do, indeed of fact, denote Plurality's meaning of more than one individual entity present in attendance within the context of the passage ... What if some hypothetical scenario similar to Alexander Sitchin's fantastical tale of claimed as proclaimed veritably evidenced, but in truth fiction, tale of the Anunaki & the 12 Planet were, at the very least, somewhat true in nature? ...

Either that, or our monotheist singularly one God possesses multiple personalities, is quite the schizophrenic, and is damn sure a Narcissist, perhaps all of the preceding speculations of theoretical conjecture combined, who knows? ... But something, at that very beginning, of that which we are all taught as children, is totally fucked up and amiss, something stinks in that Denmark we are told was The Garden of Eden ...
