Chapter 9

The next day, Tom came over to Winter's house after school to see if she would like to go out for a dinner date the following day.

She agreed to this and united him to stay over for tea.

The day after, Tom stayed off school to make sure that he would look his best for his date. No one mattered on this day except for Winter. He came to her house at about 6pm to bring her to their meal. They went to a local eatery in their small village. When they finished their meal, Tom stayed out with Winter for a while and bought her a gift. It was a heart with the words I LOVE YOU written on it in the form of a shape made of will and the fluff made of animal fur. 

Winter thought that they were the perfect match.

Tom sang her a sweet serenade before she headed home.  She went to sleep with her heart in arms, unaware what would happen the following morning.
