Now or Never

Now or Never

A Poem by Nana Carmine
"

a lot has gone on recently

"

I don't know how to move
Stuck in the place I never knew
I feel a pulsing heart
And the swelling tears
But nothing eases this pain.
I call your name
To an empty room
And hear the memories
I am too foolish
I am naive
I do not wish to love
I do not wish to want
But this feeling will not receed into my soul
A piece of me is gone
And I don't pretend I'm alright.
But I have no hope
And I never will
So I sit in my corner
And know the now or never
has long long passed...
We are in never now.

Nana.. this poem has cutting effect.. as your words cut straight to the heart.. portraying the value
of being in love.. is something that the heart must release in many cases .. much time opposite
of the mind.. in confliction there is now or never.. its either let go .. or continue suffering in the
want.. the desire reflecting how things used to be.. but can we ever turn back the clock?

but whose to say?.. your words show the power of time and its healing effects on the soul..
most importantly the heart has a way of releasing emotions on its own time.. and sometimes
all wel can do is go with the flow.. i loved this poem..moving and speaks valumes-on many levels

So I sit in my corner
And know the now or never
has long long passed...
We are in never now.

I like the power in that last line. It's a realization that people come too...
