Lust Garden

Lust Garden

A Poem by paradise

They say A rose always  represents love

But why a rose

Roses start off pretty and frresh

until time starts to pass

Roses die and wither

They turn grey and petals fall

Love starts off pretty and new

It gets old and confusing

Thus love must die too?

If you hang them up-side down, and spray them with perfume they can last a long time. I enjoyed this comparison, well written :)

Roses weather many seasons and return and grow... new and expanded growth from the old paths. Life and living takes effort and care.

I love how you can make a short simple poem unfold into a more complex and vivid one. Thoroughly enjoyed.
