Taking a camera

I take a picture

it's just a glimpse of

your life

 

For those who feel they

are in the masquerade

You don't have to hide

People will love to see

who you are

someone somewhere loves you

 

I smile for you

everytime I am overcome by sadness

to those dark days

i hope you end fast

because myfriends dont need this

not even a flask

 

 

To the ones who hurt

every god damn day

cry cry on a shoulder

let out your pain

but tell someone

give someone the

key to your insanity

 

Open the lock

its rusted shut

no one dares

to open old worn out keys

of vintage delight

but some do

those are the ones you keep

close and never let go

 

For those who are kept in cages

of hell. Set yourself free

come out and spread your wings

fly away superman fly

 

To all who are abused

satnd tall

you are STRONG

overcome there plans to hurt you

turn your cheek look

the other way

you desearve a better future

 

to those who have anorexia

you are BEAUTIFUL

don't change for society

it just kills you from the inside out

Smile everyone thinks your pretty

 

And for bulemia

how will it ever help you

the acid from your stomach ruins you

SOCIETY doesn't need you to do

this to yourself

you are AMAZING

without your head in a toilet bowl

 

 

For everyone who has been raped or molested

there is always HOPE for you

to the ones who jump when someone pokesyou

you can yell to them

they desearve to feel your anger

but tell someone who will keep a secret

 

ANd to everyone else in this world

who is hurting im right here beside you

I go through most of this every day.

just remember you are

beautiful, amazing, pretty

and strong

never think for a second you are weak

you are beautiful too ! i love this poem because it is true, we are all beautiful and once you believe it then it doesn't matter what people say. everyone has their own story and problems we shouldn't let that makes us feel worthless or unwanted. Great write, truly beautiful.
