The cities Music

Have you ever listened to the sounds of the city and thought how annoying it is, well think about it this way.....

The roar of the traffic reverberates off the stone walls,
Horns blare loudly to create the morning rush-hours symphony,
Crowds clutter in the streets,
The voices of the city creates many an artist's muse,
The cities choir,
Roads delay the traffic,
The jackhammer pounds the tarmac,
The natural percussion of the city.

The city is filled with music,
Not only in the theatres and the opera houses,
but in the streets,
You just need to open your mind to the cities symphony.

Nice that reminds me of the movie august rush at the part when boy listened to all the music that filled the streets ordinary life. Well done it was a nice little piece that many people should experience from everything around them.

Your words are true. Each city had a different sound too. I traveled the USA and you will find the cities with a lot of life and some which are dead and quiet. I like the cities like Austin, Texas. Filled with life and wild people and sounds. A strong ending to a outstanding poem. Thank you.

Yea I get ya, when I listen to the city I think such a mess and and a hassle. When I listen to the birds outside my window i want to hollar shut-up. Some of the sounds of the city is okay.....love this write....xo
