Silent Screams

Silent Screams

A Poem by Deranged Kiwi
"

Restored and edited.

"

Fresh bruises adorn her face calling out for help

Only able to draw in the curious crowds filled with wonder

A signal to mark the territory of which he has triumphed

Struck continuously to his heart's content

The battle is over; the war is lost.

Silent screams fall upon deaf ears and closed hearts

She grips onto her pillow and it gently grips her back

Comforting her when no on else will

Listening to the endless words of sorrow

Soaking in tears that seared the edges of her eyes

Dear life drifts away from her

As her soul climbs towards the skies

That awaits her arrival with open arms

Her body turns to clay and sinks like a stone

Slipping farther and farther into the depths of her hell on Earth
