Keep it real my darling

       no hearts and flowers for me

              'tis but your sweet love,yes

                 which fills my ev'ry need

 

 

 

keep it real my dear

    don't show me false attitudes

                only sincere affections

                     makes my dreams come true

 

 

 

Keep it real honey

     let no lies fall from lover's  lips

                   give unto me your kisses

                           from which sweet honey drips

 

 

 

Keep it real babe

    in your heart,your mind and soul

               'tis when I'll give unto thee

                        the deepest part of me to behold

There's nothing like the real deal! When we are surrounded by false pretenses, your poem displays the true meaning of love. Picking a few flowers from a garden while passing by is always tender! It's the special things close to the heart that matter, as you pointed out in this genuine, intimate poem.

"Being real" is the only way there is in my books. What are flowers without true love? False attitudes & lies, pretense...who needs it? Who can trust someone that isn't sincere? You can smell a skunk from a mile away.
