Your overzealous valentine poem reminds me of when we used to have secret valentines which we obsessed upon -- all the mental/emotional gyrations were many times amplified, compared to the typical end result (kind of a letdown) . . . a shy blushing "thanks" & then the object of our obsession skitters off.
