No Trespassing

No Trespassing

A Poem by Fran Marie

No ^Trespassing

The Age old belief of
life after death, and
the proverbial sliver
of 'White Light' at the
end of the tunnel.
Malarkey ?
Maybe , Maybe not.

He came back to tell
about his experience.
How the scent of Doom and Death
mixed with Blood and Rain
permeated the air ~
that fateful night
the Bloody car accident happened
and took his life.
Yes,on that
dreadful rainy night.

It was his time, and he could
not escape death as the
Reaper came at
the stroke of midnight
to collect his due.

And so O'le Grim,took
him into a gaudy, God-Awful
Netherworld. filled with
twisted-jaded souls~yes
A place called the~(H) word

A sharp Contrast from any
'White -Light' he had known.
He was the Devil's puppet
who danced to the dark-dreary
tune of fiery-red flames,found
only in the
Depths of Hell!

This piece really gets you thinking. Sometimes people believe after death it's Heaven or nothing. I love how you made this piece portray the few who find themselves in hell after death. Thank you for sharing this piece it was a great write!
