Honeysuckle

A Poem by Fran Marie

Haiku~

Honeysuckle scents
the mystical moist night air
as we share sweet love

Moonbeams from above
cast a magical spell, meant
for lovers to share

Star's silvery stare
shine brightly the glow of love
with heaven's consent

Dawn rises content
a mystique still lingers there
'tis but you my love

Sun shines without care
a new day of blissful love
a sweet splendor sent

Moist nights re commence
scents of honeysuckle love
heart and soul we bare

I'm really new to poetry, and to tell the truth a little intimidated by all the different forms. But I thought this was really fantastic. It was gentle, filled with tenderness and love. Just excellent!

This is so light hearted and free, Fran. I love the scent of Honeysuckle...(just wish it didn't attract bees.) An amazing haiku extravaganza! Well done!
