Hollow HeartA Poem by Fran Mariesad love sonnet
When love ends it withers and dies leaving you to travel a lonely road as tear drops fall from weeping eyes left in love's wasteland so bitterly cold
When love ends a heartache begins grieving, your heart lays tattered and torn as heartbreak 'tis not easy to mend bereft, you bleed, shattered and worn
'O that love's fire would burn bright and last! and gods above would permit it's end naught 'Alas, the billowing flame has burnt out fast and from its spark a hollow heart was wrought
When love dies the heart has bled with eyes that cry the last tears shed
