Worst of The Worst

Worst of The Worst

A Poem by Fran Marie
"

vampires of course

"

They exist,really they do

Lustful vampires coming after you

as their favorite night draws near

these bloodsuckers will surely appear

Not of this earth these unholy things

they long to hear your midnight screams

oh,beware their bite that marks you well

and steals your soul to take to hell

Their fangs sink deep into your skin

as crimson blood drips down their chin

savoring your raw flesh as they feast

damp raw blood their favorite treat

As if their bloodfest were love so true

a demon's curse is their I love you

closing their eyes as blood trickles down their throat

warming their souless hearts as they gloat

No escape from these creatures of the night

once they begin their deadly flight

no one is safe, there's no where to hide

so this halloween it's best to stay inside

Vampires~the worst of the worst

unholy things not of this earth

They'll open your flesh and begin to chew

yes,oh yes! they're coming for you!

Enjoy this so much! The feel, the flow, and the almost lyrical feel worked perfectly with the dark, vivid imagery. So good!

You so make one look forward to halloween! Loved this witty, dark work. Great rhyme and flow. Thank you for the tour of what just might be a feast night, but alas we may just be the food served. Blood pudding anyone. As always you did a great job with you ever flowing poetic pen.
