Dangerous

 



Day is night and night is day 
I live to kill as moonlight shines
dangerous is the game I play 
I always stalk and take what's mine 


Don't try to escape my deadly curse
by running away,tho~ you think you must 
you'll only make matters worse
drinking your warm blood is my lust


O' yes,a misty midnight draws nigh
and hell no I don't give a damn
for danger is my only high
as I put forth my deadly plan


O' what evil things I shall do
as I pleasure myself with joy
a succulent bloodfest I'll have in you
you'll be my special night time toy


'Tis true I wear a disquise
looking quite normal in everyway
but look closely into my eyes
and see the danger therein; lays


Vampire I am by night
and evil is as evil does; beware! 
I  show no mercy in my plight 
I'm dangerous in the dark damp air

This is a steamy, sultry piece of poetry.. (from a male pov) I read this all the while imagining a woman like the one pictured, and as it was written by a poetess, it came across just this way: the man-eater.. A dangerous creature but an inevitable temptation to the lusty male ego. I think in this sense it says a lot about the relationship between men and women.. And is a moral on the teetering balance of power between the sexes..

I would've liked it if "dangerous is the game I play" was at the end of each stanza, but that would have messed up the first stanza and ruined the four line stanzas you have. But I really like how there's either death (deadly), danger(ous) or evil of some kind in each stanza. That's not easy to do, for me at least. And you have better rime than I do. :)
