She is Pushed Over

She is Pushed Over

A Poem by Frances Clark

She is pushed over.

Her waiting a useless state,

False, she’s a strange

Contradiction. She claims pain

As though she never caused,

And now she’s lost

Her reconciliation,

With the feeling, she states she misses

Because they exchanged words everyday,

Supposedly.

Unaware, stupidly

What I know it, I can read it.

He tells, tales of a bitter

Previous alliance, that is

His spontaneous mistake.

Now I ask you:

Did his news make you cry?

Your feelings hurt,

To which silence uttered, words stopped

And over again, you insulted him.
