Earth …in seventeen syllables

Earth …in seventeen syllables

A Poem by Freedom Jurnee

Haiku from my blog

You rain and I cry,

Your wind is the air I breathe.

Please don’t hold your breath.

Thanks Courage! That is exactly what I was going for.

Wow i really like this one. Especially how you describe earth as the wind you breathe. The last line was so touching how you couldn't live without the earth. I couldn't help, but think this earth was a person you personified it very well. Good job.

Thank you again! I have to try haiku's out of the seventeen syllable context...that is a good idea.

Again! I had to chuckle at the simple beauty expressed here. Being easy to read and understand it fits my simple brain just perfectly.

PS....You can use more than seventeen syllables, if you want to.
