Storms of Life.

The storms of life blow

 

every once in a while

 

to test our strength

 

along each troubled mile.

 

Blowing gale-force they topple us

 

from our lofty stance,

 

bringing us to our knees

 

at every given chance.

 

They don’t stay long, they move along

 

     and toy with someone new.

 

Yesterday it was her, today it’s me,

 

tomorrow it may be you.

We all go through storms in our lives. Some of us watching TV, floods fires, hurricanes, volcanoes, and earthquakes and watch those suffering. Tomorrow it may be us. I have been through in numerable hurricanes both in reality and emotionally. They all make us appreciate the good weather, the good times. Your use of this metaphor works well and the message that it may be us. Tomorrow is well taken nicely done Marie.
