HOW DO YOU DEAL?

HOW DO YOU DEAL?

A Poem by Black Raven

My imagination is flowing.

How do you deal?

Talkin’ so stupid about how you feel.

“Get out!” she says “get out!”

Drunk b*****d ain't got nowhere to go.

“ don't u ever put yo’ hands on me no mo’”

He’ll be back tomorrow.

 I’m sorry twin I nod,

But not my twin.

How do you deal?

Tears appear in my eyes.

I wish I was done

All the yelling arguing with love pleading he’s sorry.

My heart is now bitter so I yell

“You ruined the best thing that ever happened to me apologize”

So I do only for you to block me out I hate him,

But I hide my hate behind a smile

Hopin’ my face doesn’t crack,

That no one will see me crying, hurting,

Letting man step in place of your happiness.

Thinking you got it good. Telling me I’m no good.

Thinking you all that cursing me out just to make yourself feel better.

Like I said,

My imagination is flowing.

But how do you deal?

Drunk b*****d tells your daughter he's sorry,

But her twin ain't buyin’ it.

Lucky for you he'll be back tomorrow.
