Sweet Faith

Sweet Faith

A Poem by Beatles9322

Faith.

How was I supposed to know,

What that truly meant?

My life had no trauma,

There was no hardship,

Yet, all the while I felt,

Like something was missing.

Faith.

Mothers teach us all we need to know,

To survive in this world,

I didn't realize,

That I had to learn this one,

With help from the Lord.

Today, faith came to me,

In the form of a phone call.

God set my mind at rest,

With the sound of my mother's voice.

Thank You, God, my Sweet Faith.

For everything You've taught me,

And thank You for giving me,

More time with my mother.
