My Mr. Rochester

My Mr. Rochester

A Poem by Beatles9322

Your warmth embraces me
And I feel cozy and protected.

You smell like a man should.
Rustic, sexy and fiery.

You remind me of a fireplace.
I feel at home when I am around you.

I spark when you are near me.
Our minds are equal to each other.

One glance of mutual understanding
Reveals your intelligence and humor.

Little remarks show me your wit
And I revel in the beauty of your brain.

I do not even know your name
So I will call you Mr. Rochester, for you transfix me quite.

Perfectly sums up Rochester (my favourite character of all time). I like the way you used a line he says in the book to Jane in your final sentence: ''You transfix me quite.'

I like the poem. Mr. Rochester sound like a good man. Sometime the unknown people can make us dream and wish. I like the ending to the excellent poem.
