Jesus Is My True Love

Just found this poem. Written 10/3/11.

Almost 18 years I've longed for a man.
If I had someone to call my own,
What complaints could I have?
My happiness would rely upon a man.

My mind must have been stuck in the Victorian era,
For no modern woman could believe such a thing.
Maybe it was starting college or my deepening love for Jesus,
But I am content with where I am.

I do not need a MAN to be happy!
I am a W-O-M-A-N which by definition alone
means that I am fierce and fearless.
JESUS is the only man I want and need!
