Heel to toe
I place them down,
these weary feet
upon the ground

With these steps
my world expands
yet I find myself
where I began

This peaks well, an interesting jaunt through the valuations of exploration and what discovery may actually effect upon the organism.
The rhyme is strong yet walks free of baggage or sense of being forced.
