Another Lonely Day

Another Lonely Day

A Poem by GardenDelights

A poem of romantic rejection. Rejection by someone obsessed with their health problems.

What am I supposed to do
When all my thoughts center on you?

When I offer you my love
And my offer goes untouched?

An invitation issued true
Left unopened, no breakthrough...

It cannot pierce the heavy cloud
Health issues worn as comfy shroud...

Familiar friendly enemy
Leaves little room for such as me.

And so I live alone again
Abandoned, wanting pain to end.
