Gray

Gray

A Chapter by Garrett Leatherman

One of you says this,

The other that,

But in the middle is where it’s at.

One claims knowledge,

The other disclaims it,

But the middle holds wisdom in it.

One fears the other,

And the other hates the one,

Yet each thinks they understand the other one.

One stays over there

And there the other stays away,

Lest gray should have something to say.

Should gray have something to say

Nothing would make sense.

Hence why you stay away so you never have to lament.

Gray does not blame you.

Gray does not deem you insane.

Gray knows that insanity is the best way to stay sane.

Funny. I had this conversation with a friend not long ago. The friend says, "there is no grey!"
How can there not be? If there wasn't, then how was it born?
Nothing is just black or white. Okay, maybe in mathematics.

True, perhaps math is the only "non-gray" phenomenon...
