Not to sound like a stalker,

But I’ve been waiting for you.

I was always quite the talker,

But I’ve run out of things to do.

Predictable lines,

Running out of spontaneous words.

Just like old times,

Surviving on the weird curves.

 

Not to sound dependent,

But I need you here or I can’t survive.

I was always quite the defendant,

When people try to look past my eyes.

Unpredictable life,

Running away from everyone around.

Just like I’m used to,

Losing things I never found.

 

I just want to say,

“Hello, how are you?”

 

I’m sure it’s been a while,

Since I’ve seen you smile.

Sincerely I always liked your frown.

And everything else about you too.

See? I’m just stuck on your existence.

It’s unhealthy…like the flu.
