Night

Night

A Poem by Alicia

Her fragile hand inside of mine,

Our fingers tightly intertwined.

Sound asleep with a grin on her face,

Nothing could tear me away from her tonight.

Its might not be much,

But its more than enough,

To make me smile, Make me wonder

What I did to deserve this night.

You dont have to be so scared,

Think about the memories weve shared.

Trust in me and Ill trust in you

We can both pull eachother through

This war that we call love,

But this time, in the end

We will all be happy, and wont have to pretend

That what we have is fake, it is all so real

Without having anything left thats concealed

So Ill sing her to sleep, on this night of all nights

And know the next day, after we turn out the lights

This will all start over once again.
