Just Beautiful

     Parleyed her beauty

into a wealthy husband,

     and lovely home.

 

     Still unsatisfied,

she began to drink too much;

     more and more each day.

 

     Husband and money

soon went away; still she drank.

     She's not pretty now.

This is for Vivian, who thought marrying a rich man would make her happy, it didn't. God rest her soul.
