I like the simplicity of this. Not sure if it's meant to be a haiku, but I remember doing this when I was a kid. I don't remember what I wished for, but I hope they came true. Good writing.

I haven't been on this site for a long time. If I close my eyes, I can still picture the children playing around the wishing well. Oh, the innocence of being a young child.
