Broken Paper

Broken Paper

A Poem by Benita-Staebell M - KindredPoet
"

Sadness.. and brokenness...broken Hearts..

"

Cut  out paper hearts

just    all  ripped up,

For every soul that's

made  there's always

going to be a  broken

heart.

Throw the ripped paper

into the wind

Make a wish.. put the pieces

back together,

ASK YOUR   Holy Father

to erase the pain take it

away so you'll forget.

simply stated .. graphic metaphor ... i feel the this hopeless resignation as pieces are thrown to the wind ... it truly takes more than human endeavor to put things back together ... with faith i can sit quietly beside my pain .. blessings to you Kindred

Benita, I can identify with this one this week, especially. My heart was broken in a sudden, mad moment that can't be undone. I think it is far worse if it is sudden...without warning. A cruel trick of fate, perhaps. However, when someone's time is up...there is little anyone can do about it. I like your idea of throwing the pieces of paper into the wind and having them reform by the will of God. Nice visual, my friend.

What a beautiful piece. You paint such a stark and beautiful picture in so little words. A broken heart is truly something that no one should have to live with, But yet everyone experiences it.

nice, short but sweet. Love the first few lines, it's true... for every soul that is made, there will always be a broken heart. Nice work

Love can be as fragile as paper, easily torn, but easily put back together again by someone who gives true love. Very good poem my new friend

Very true, but the way you fix that broken heart is very lovely.
This has some great advice.
Well done! ^^

No problem. ^^
I like the way you could repair a broken heart. Would be nice if it could work. The strong description allowed the reader to vision the paper being torn-up and flowing in the wind. Hoping for the broken heart to repair. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
