Mirror Me

Mirror Me

A Poem by Gillzy
"

Are we reflecting each other?

Look in the mirror.

Scattered images              fly.

Happy times.

Sad.

Happy

And sad.

Brow is creased,

To touch                             it's real.

The scowl in the eyes

Is distant and present.

Want to ignore

To forget -                    Let go.

But can't.

Look in the mirror.

Look in the eyes.

Yours to mine.

Mine to yours.

Is it mutual?

Both cores at war.

We are as one                      - reflecting.

Look in the mirror.

Can it be broken?

If it breaks is it fixed,

Is it over,

Is it gone?

I'm tempted to change a wee bit:

"We are as one -reflecting
-deflecting"

Maybe...
