How I Found You

I don’t know how I found you.

Were you in front of me this whole time?

I don’t know what I’m used to but

I must have been blind.

Did you see my heart?

When it was glowing like crazy…

Did I have a jump start because

I wasn’t joking when I told you that lately

On the daily, my life was pretty rainy

Now, I’m knowing that we were meant to be.

Now, things are different but they are exactly the same.

Were we just ending a playoff game?

Were we just a guarantee?

No… No we weren’t.

I must’ve known that miracles arrive

At the most unexpected of times.

I was holding such importance.

I had so much love in just one hand.

I was staring through a looking glass

Staring straight at you.

Take a leap of faith.... ever hear the term lover's leap? Well, love's not a skip, stroll, run, or a quiet journey. Love shakes every part of you. It catches you before you can have a chance to realize what's going on. It requires trust. It makes your jump. It brightens your world. It brings you peace. It makes you break down all barriers. It makes you want to shout from the rooftops. It's loud and can't be ignored. It takes constant nurturing and it's a two way street. It's the most amazing thing that anyone could experience, but it's also the most heart wrenching. It doesn't make sense, but it crowds every part of who you are. It makes the rainy days seem less gloomy. Love doesn't make sense but we follow it blindly anyways. Keep up the good work, hun!
