Torment

Torment

A Poem by Kenzi Griffin

Hiding it deep inside
Pushing it all aside
It just wasn't fair
How she was always there.
Yet he had gone
And still she held on
It all breaks her heart
Pulling her farther apart.
She watches them walk hand in hand
Her knees begin to weaken as she stands
To walk away, far away
She just couldn't stay.

Author's Note

Kenzi Griffin
So I wrote this when I was half asleep, drugged because of my sleeping problems. I honestly thought this was all a dream and had thought to myself that I would just write it when I woke up so I was quite surprised when I woke up and found this in my hand. It's about how I felt, before I met the guy I like right now, when I watched my ex and his girlfriend do the things him and I used to do all the time.
