Paths

Paths

A Poem by GingerPocky
"

This was a writing assignment in my language arts class last quarter

"

My lifeline is a challenge, a physical feat

A path so steep, almost ninety degrees

The end has yet to be seen

A heavy mist intent on blinding me

My headline is confusing and dwindles at times

Several trails deviate, many ways to explore

I find myself lost while remaining on track

An answer will bloom at the end

My heartline is dark, demons lurking alongside

They travel with you, hidden in the overgrowth

Missteps leave you trapped, dragged into the depths, you must fight your way out

Their essence clings, and whispers

About
I'm a 17 year old ginger girl who enjoys writing poems and stories. I'm also very lazy about writing and take forever to write something I feel is worth keeping, so I most likely won't be posting new .. more..
