Both true super heroes.

Sound the gongs.

Flip style, flip side and P. I. represent a. k. a. Filipino American Dream:

Set to obliterate with the sound of my ploy.

Prepare to seek and destroy.

Deploy to annihilate you; like the great city of Troy.

Employ like Achilles; tear down Berlin Wall.

Fall to your knees.

Guarantee to move like a butterfly, sting like a bee and like the Great Ali.

Amply here comes the main feature.

Temperature was 100 degrees.

Agree to disagree this verse will hit you and bleed.

Heed to smear blood, sweat and tears.

Shear 7 years of disgrace.

Haste there’s no wasting time.

Find you’re going down like a dime.

Chime the bell get ready to swell.

Farewell, digging deep in the well.

Foretell gut wrenching, teeth grinding and give me a mouthpiece.

Increase fury is about to be release.

Denounce suffering with a bottle of Gin, only one can win.

Shun distain pain coming like a locomotive freight train!

This particular piece caught my attention as Ali is my favorite fighter of all time, and I remember well the time of this wild adventure!!
You have captured the essence, the heart stopping action of the event with precision and ability to take me to the edge of the ring!!

Shelia --- I just missed this fight...even if I was born --- I would of been a baby...I revised this a bit more...at first...I gave it all to Ali...and did not credit Joe in the lines as a great fighter himself...and may he RIP...its these types of fights...not for their brutality --- as sometimes deemed...but for what it stands for --- I did do research before putting this into lyrical verse...thanks again...

Joe waged one heck of a fight too!! I can still Ali strutting around when he was promoting it......great stuff, but as you say it was before your time!! Now, I am telling my age.....LOL
