To Whom It May Concern

To Whom It May Concern

A Poem by Glenn

As I see you standing there staring at me
I don't feel shackled, almost free.
For the first time in a while my mind is clear. I had forgotten how it felt to be held dear.
All I can say is thank you so much, but I shall not act on this hunch.
To ruin what we have would be a grave mistake.
What if what I think is there is fake?
So I shall be content with were we are at. Just hoping that everything will not fall flat.
Thank you so much for being in my life,
For relieving me of thoughts that were full of strife.
And as we continue on our merry way,
I look forward to the next time we get to play.

isn't it a conundrum....we want to be happy, and we want to please our mates...but sometimes we are so careful trying not to mess things up, that we end up doing it anyway.
