Break my Heart

Break my Heart

A Poem by Glowheart

You'll whisper secret nothings
You'll play with my hair
You'll buy me a necklace
You'll act like you care

You'll tell me you love me
You'll hug me when I'm cold
You'll kiss me in te rain
You'll promise to stay till we're old

Then one day you'll see
I'm not all that fun
I'm just a little girl
Playing in the sun

You'll break my heart
You'll go away somewhere
But baby I love you
I just don't care

I like this. To me, the comment "I'm just a little girl, playing in the sun" suggests he wants a more mature relationship, or doesn't think you can (or will) give him that. Honestly, I think you'd be better off without someone like that.

Promises are just that, and I say until you've got that ring on your finger, don't believe all you're told... but I am the worst kind of pessimist.

Relationships can leave scars worse than spider bites. White tail was it? Nasty buggers those things.
