Dear Mimi,
This was a nice, simple, and direct write. Dreams can be so complicated sometimes as they let out our emotions and hopes for life. I can see these aspects in your dream, here. I like the simple story-relating style you are using here. We can feel that there is open and direct communication with the reader.
