Welcome To Your Life

Welcome To Your Life

A Poem by GrayHalwk
"

Well it's about a wasted life.

"
Sitting in the rain,
But feel no pain,
Lost in space,
Wish I was no longer apart of the human race,
Locked inside,
Wishing I could die,
Walking through time,
Trying not to lose my mind,
Looking out,
But can't see
Wishing and hoping,
Bit lost my way,
Went to church,
But it still hurts,
Wanting to let go,
Because the world is so cold,
Now and then,
The sun comes up,
But only on dark days,
Locked in a haze,
Because I'm lost in a maze,
Life is a joke,
Because the world is hooked on coke,
Living and dieting,
Each and every day,
If you speak out,
They lock you away,
When night and day,
Your locked in a dream,
Trying not to run out of steam,
Because no one shares your dreams,
And you never know if you're asleep or,
A part of the walking dead,
In a world not your own,
Can't get your God on the phone,
Listening to the people outside,
Just getting high,
And the children cry,
As they are learning the golden rule,
About being a fool the
Wile going to school,
Because it's all about being cool,
Wile playing the game,
And living in the bye and bye,
And getting high,
As we live and die,
Because even the preacher man,
With his holy book in hand,
Is getting stoned,
To the bone,
Because he just phone,
And couldn't get to pick up,
Because the bose,
He is lost,
And his angels,
Are dancing with the devil tonight,
As the world turns,
You must learn,
We all are going to burn,
Because our soles,
Have been bought,
And soled,
Because our world has gone dark,
Scents they lost their virginity in the park,
It's a big jock,
Till your life goes up in smoke,
And you crock,
And your checking into cloud nine,
And can't find the right line,
Or they don't let you in,
Because you don't make the right friends,
And your life has come to,
The End.

a song here like a rap.
and yes, it has to feel really futile when Church can't even assuage the anger, guilt and hopelessness of life.
