Obama Lets Wolves Get Exterminated

This is my response to this news from the Center for Biological Diversity: This is a vent poem, I guess.

I voted for Jill Stein
I knew this was coming
I watched the campaign
I listened to Obama
Everyone else listened to Karl Rove
     How's it feel to have voted for a strawman?
I'm not looking back

My hands shake as I hear the news.
Most people don't care
Republicans like it
Democrats just fall in line
     Thank you so much DNC
I'll convey your sentiments to America's wild predators

A pack, running wild, running free
That's what makes me feel like an American
To some people being an American means you get to shoot things.
     I can see who won that election
Here's to you, American so-called Liberals.

Let's drill for oil, let's build shopping malls
Let's trade stocks while talking about how progressive we are
     A handful of social issues ought to be enough
Well I'm not your dog so don't bother throwing me a bone.

With corporate profits at an all-time high, you must be very proud of Obama
     Any capitalist would be
The market won't protect the environment
     But at least you'll make a pile of dough.
